How to Chop & Freeze Cauliflower

These days we’re all trying to extend the life of food, especially with fresh produce. For us, cauliflower is top of the list. Cauliflower can be a great substitute for meat (we’re looking at you buffalo cauliflower), turned into “rice” or mash for the base of a meal, or can be the main ingredient (hello, Roasted Cauliflower Cheddar Soup).

To get started, check out how to cut a whole head of cauliflower into florets. (P.S. You don’t need a knife for the whole thing and you can have your kids safely help.)

Now that you’ve mastered that, let’s find out how to correctly freeze the florets for best results.
