Our most vivid memories and strongest bonds in life are formed during meals or in the process of preparing food. Food stimulates the senses and connects us on a most human level. How and what we eat defines who we are. Getting this right can open a world of new adventures, friendships and valuable lessons for life.
Nearly three million children in America have disabilities. Our project aims to help special needs kids socialize, strengthen their ability to communicate, and refine their motor skills and concentration.
We aim to do this by combining good-quality ingredients with the curious and open minds of children, guided by trained culinary professionals who enjoy teaching and showing how to make tasty, healthy and fun meals.
Please support us with a donation to help achieve our goal of building a community of socially-integrated special needs kids through the art of cooking.
